Policy Brief – Hydrogen Blending

To protect the health of Pennsylvanians, legislators must reject the false solution of hydrogen blending in pipeswith gas and using any form of hydrogen produced with energy from methane gas. It will always be more efficientand safer to rely first on the direct use of renewable electricity wherever possible, rather than convert thatelectricity into hydrogen before using it as an energy source.
