PSR provides unpaid volunteer experiences, community / service learning and internships to undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and graduate students and non-students.  The opportunities offered with the Work with Schools Programs vary and depend on the timing, duration and requirements or expectations of the experience.

 

Opportunities may include, but are not limited to: 

• Working with youth

• Marketing

• Writing/research

• Fundraising

• Collaborative partnerships

• Organizing events

• IT technology

• Evaluation

*Volunteers/interns must undergo a screening process, interviews, and reference checks.

*Anyone volunteering or working in Philadelphia schools must also complete three types of

criminal background checks, FBI finger prints, and child abuse clearances.
