The process of cutting a shawl is quite simple and you don’t have to go through complications. Simply cut a rectangular shape of the fabric, and take care of length and width. Keep the length and width as you need, and always use a sharp rotary cutter to save your garment from any kind of fraying. Fold the edges two times, and then pin the garment.

Lay the shawl fabric on the table flat, and if you are sewing lining shawl then lay both layers. Trim the edges of the fabric, so you must have identical edges in the end.
