Town Halls

Physicians for Social Responsibility Pennsylvania has been partnering with local grassroots organizations throughout the state to bring a series of community led hybrid Town Halls to address environmental community health issues in their areas; ranging from the impact of the BC Max Environmental Landfills in Yukon, to the Shell Cracker Plant in Beaver, to the pollution from the Oil and Gas Industry in Chester Springs and beyond.

These Town Halls provide a space to talk openly, share opinions, and ask burning questions about environmental health specifically affecting the community.

The Town Halls have centered on discussions on the radioactive emissions study results, optical gas imaging (OGI) camera, air quality monitors and test kits, and a closed (not live streamed) community listening session.

Air Monitoring

PSR PA is conducting research and gathering data via Air Quality Monitoring and FLIR Optical Gas Imaging to support communities as they advocate for better policies to support public health.
