Solidarity Tours: Witnessing Environmental Injustice Firsthand
Bringing Impacted Voices to the Forefront
PSR Pennsylvania's Solidarity Tours offer a transformative experience for individuals, organizations, journalists, and policymakers to witness firsthand the environmental and health impacts of toxic facilities in Pennsylvania. These tours provide an opportunity to hear directly from residents whose lives are affected by harmful industrial practices, fostering a deeper understanding and commitment to environmental justice.
What Are Solidarity Tours?
Solidarity Tours are guided visits to communities living near fossil fuel infrastructure, such as steel mills, coal plants, and fracking sites. Participants engage with local residents, community leaders, and health professionals to learn about the challenges faced by these communities and the efforts underway to address them. The tours aim to amplify the voices of those most affected and to inspire collective action for change.
Why Participate?

Hear Directly from Affected Residents: Engage with community members who share their personal stories and experiences living near toxic facilities.
-

-
Witness Community Resilience: See how communities are organizing and advocating for cleaner, healthier environments.
-
