Rapid Actions
A.C.T.I.O.N.S. – Accessible, Campaign-Based, Targeted, In-Community, One-Per-Week, Needed, Strategic
Rapid Actions are quick and effective ways to get involved in the fight against climate change and inequity in the Philadelphia community. Each action is something simple you can do with a minimum of time and resources, connected to a specific campaign target. We may ask you to make a phone call, send an email or join in a petition.
If you’re not sure what to say, don’t worry, we help with that too! We provide a basic script to make sure your message covers the important points, though we encourage you to include any questions and concerns you have and make your message personal.
We send Rapid Actions emails out 1-4 times a month, and if you sign up these will be the only emails you get from us. After you’ve finished an Action there’s a button to click so we can celebrate you and track mobilization. The goal of the Rapid Actions program is to empower you, the citizen, to act on issues that matter to you with things you can do RIGHT NOW.
