Environmental Health

We work to protect communities from the health harms of toxic industry by advancing science-based advocacy and environmental justice. From extraction to disposal we confront the threats fossil fuel and industrial pollution. Through monitoring, education, and policy change, we center the voices and needs of those  impacted by environmental burdens.

Climate Change

At PSR PA, we advocate for a rapid and equitable transition away from fossil fuels—the primary source of greenhouse gas emissions, including methane, a potent contributor to global warming. Through science-based education and policy advocacy we work to advance clean, just energy solutions that protect both human health and the planet.

Youth Mentoring

With over 30 years of experience, we mentor youth during their most vulnerable years through trauma-informed programs that build trust, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. Rooted in deep community engagement, our work supports healing, resilience, and empowers young people to become changemakers in under-resourced neighborhoods.

PGW

Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is the nation’s largest municipally owned gas utility—meaning Philadelphians collectively own it and can shape its future. But gas is a dangerous fossil fuel that drives climate change, harms health, and puts communities at risk, making a transition to clean energy urgent.
