Join us for an insightful webinar that will address these questions, featuring Chris Chyung Senior Campaign Manager for the State House to White House Initiative at the Center for American Progress, and Julie Becker, MA, PhD, MPH.

Panelists:

Chris Chyung is the senior campaign manager for the State House to White House Initiative at American Progress. As a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, Chyung served on the committees for Veterans Affairs and Public Safety, Roads and Transportation, and Financial Institutions; and he was ranking minority member of the Local Government Committee. Chyung holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Columbia University.

Julie Becker, MA, PhD, MPH,  is a PSR PA Board Member and Senior Public Health Scholar and Climate Change Advisor). Formerly, she was an Associate Professor at a small STEM university in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Becker has focused almost three decades of programmatic scholarship on environmental health as part of the core disciplines of public health. Currently, Dr. Becker’s research interests include developing climate change curricula for current and future healthcare professionals and creating programs for older adults about preparedness for climate change events. She holds a master’s degree in Science Policy from The George Washington University, a Ph.D. in Public Health and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health, both from Temple University.
