Data Center Town Hall, Berwick, Pennsylvania

Physicians for Social Responsibility Pennsylvania hosted a community townhall for the Salem Township, Berwick, and Shickshinny Area on the public health and environmental impacts of data centers. Joined by Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation, Put People First PA, and concerned residents, panelists covered the implications of local infrastructure proposed for the region and what it means in the context of the larger generative AI boom/bust.
