About the Event

What does it take to effectively monitor a polluting facility in your community — and do it safely, credibly, and with real impact?

This hands-on training session draws on more than a decade of frontline monitoring experience, led by someone who began this work as an impacted resident and now serves as Director of Science and Investigations for PSR PA. The result is a practical, grounded curriculum built on hard-won lessons from the field.

Participants will come away with field-tested strategies for:

  • Safely observing industrial sites across a range of sectors

  • Recognizing potential hazards before and during site visits

  • Documenting activity in ways that are clear, credible, and legally defensible
