About Linnea
With a background in education and storytelling, Linnea makes public health topics easier to understand. After hearing terrifying projections that showcased the impending crisis of climate change, especially the disproportionate impact on Black and Brown and low income communities who bear the least responsibility for greenhouse gas emissions, she began volunteer organizing on a green labor and solar energy campaign targeting PECO with Earth Quaker Action Team.
She now brings her theatre and film experience into her work with PSR PA, using creative formats to build communities, foster civic engagement, and illustrate the toll of fossil fuel dependence and the opportunities of efficiency and a renewable transition led by community voices. She is inspired everyday by health and medical professionals who are passionate about addressing and preventing the causes of negative health outcomes, environmental impacts, and inequity.
