On Sunday, December 8th We celebrated our 40th Anniversary at the Gorgeous and Historic Oaks Cloister. It was a magical evening in what is certainly on of Philadelphia's most beautiful homes.
It was an amazing opportunity for PSR supporters of all backgrounds to meet and reminisce about four decades of activism and accomplishment, capped off by our recent huge success with Governor Wolf.
At the event we awarded this year's Soul of Medicine winners - all 4th year medical student's recommended by their faculty for embracing their role as healers and the humanity of their patients. We heard from our own Tammy Murphy about her work on Climate Change and Fracking, as well as Corey Davis and his work with PSR PA mentoring underprivileged youth in Philadelphia. Finally we also welcomed and recognized Pennsylvania politicians whose environmental work has helped protect the public health of all Pennsylvanian's.
